Rules
The crown
There is one crown. Whoever holds it is featured on the homepage with their name, avatar, message and link. The clock starts the moment you take it and stops when someone takes it from you.
The price
- The crown never costs less than $5.
- Every time someone takes it, the price rises 20% over what they paid.
- While nobody takes it, the price drops 2% every hour, down to the minimum.
- When you start a purchase, the price is reserved for you for 5 minutes. During that time nobody else can buy the crown.
- If your payment arrives after your reservation expired and someone else already took the crown, you are refunded automatically.
- You cannot buy the crown while you hold it.
What you can post
- A public name of 3 to 24 characters: letters, numbers, dots, hyphens and underscores.
- A message of up to 80 characters, with no links.
- One main link and optional social links, all using https.
Everything is checked before it appears. Content that breaks the rules is rejected before you pay. If the check is delayed, your message and link appear after a short review. No impersonation, hate, scams, adult content, chat invites or link shorteners.
Ranks
Your rank depends on the total time you have reigned:
| Rank | Total time |
|---|---|
| Peasant | 0 |
| Knight | 1 hour |
| Baron | 6 hours |
| Count | 24 hours |
| Duke | 72 hours |
| Emperor | 168 hours |
Achievements
Achievements are unlocked by what happens during your reigns: holding the crown for long, taking it from a long-reigning king, taking revenge, being the first of a season or of your country, and more. Seasonal achievements can only be earned during their season and never return.
Seasons
Each season lasts about a month and has its own art, crown and exclusive items. When a season ends, the current reign closes, the King of the Season (most total time on the throne) is crowned in the hall of fame, and the crown resets to the minimum price for the next season.
Fair play
One crown, no bots, no stolen payment methods, no using other people's emails. Accounts that break the rules can be suspended. See the Terms of Service for details.
